Tom in Pärnu/Estonia
Hmm, how to start... anyways once upon a time there was a British lad called Tom. He was on his journey from Tallinn to Riga, but somehow he found out that Pärnu is halfway there and he decided to surf for one night. No one wanted to take him, until one very nice looking and bright guy called Kristjan thought "alright, yolo, I'll host him."
Ricardo in Estonia
As Richard
said he's visiting Estonia for a couple of days (26.08 - 28.08) I came to
Tallinn on Friday. We didn't get in contact with him on Friday, so we just had
some predrinks and then went to N.9, which is a rooftop restaurant/bar on 9th
floor with a nice view over the city. Got to home around 3am and had to meet
Richard around 9.30am at the train station.

Kieran in Estonia
Kieran is a coursemate of Andreas and decided to visit Estonia for five days. Me and Kristina thought we'll take a train to go and meet up with them. It would take ages to put down everything we did, so I'll rather upload a few photos instead. Enjoy!
Pedassaare
I remember that right before we started leaving from Kääriku, there were only two cars left from our group - one going through Pärnu and the other going through Tartu to Tallinn. Andreas asked me what i'm upto for the next days and as I had nothing, we thought - yolo, lets go to tallinn. So we dumped most of my stuff at my place and then moved on to Tallinn.

Right after the Mid-Summer Eve celebrations I went to the university student summer games in Kääriku. It's basically about students from all universities around Estonia (and also abroad) come together to ...

Day 2: UK-Estonia
From Calais we continued our way through Belgium until we got to Amsterdam. It was really cool to see that everyone cycles. There were just so many people on their bikes… Then we met our Estonian hosts Indrek and Sandra, who are students and were happy to help us out with accommodation. We spent our night in the city, had a blast, bought some muffins that made us "happy", visited the famous Red Light District and tried to navigate home. Decided to take a shortcut, which ended up in making a big circle around the town -.-
Next day we started heading towards Estonia around 6 o'clock and it took us 26 hours to reach Pärnu. On our way we stopped in every gas station to rest our legs and play JIANZI.

Day 1: UK-Estonia
I think it was around 1 o'clock when Andreas finally texted us that he is on his way back home. His first sms was then followed by then more, most of them saying: "RAMMSTEIN"...
Driving through 9 countries - UK to Estonia
This year we
decided to drive all the way back to home instead of flying. At first everyone
was really sceptic about the idea, but once Taavi bought the car, it was clear
- IT'S A ROAD TRIP! Our initial plan was to complete the journey in 3 days and
2 overnight stays - one in Amsterdam and the other one somewhere in Poland,
near the border of Lithuania.
During the
last week in Birmingham everyone tried to do as many shifts as possible, but my
last one was on Thursday as I had outdoor climbing on Friday and shopping &
packing on Saturday/Sunday. Thank god for vacum bags, otherwise I would have no
idea how I could have taken all the stuff and equipment with me. On Sunday we
did our last shopping and took all the stuff from Taavi's place to mine, where
we called a taxi as it was way too many things to carry… Anyways most of the
evening went for packing everything and fitting it into the boot. Had some
asian take away and just made sure we've got everything we need.
Outdoor Climbing 14/06/2013
Another wonderful day spent climbing somewhere in the UK. Weather was sunny and warm with occasional showers. Climbs were quite easy to medium. Cool thing was that we could practice different climbing styles, such as using the crack. Here's some photos:

Free Tickets for Beyonce's Concert
I usually
work a lot at different events and concerts, but most of the time we don't have
the chance to watch the act itself. Except this time. I was working in the VIP
lounge, where people paid up to £ 500 to have a private area, snacks &
drinks and of course front row tickets to enjoy the show. Once everyone left
for the concert one of the tour managers came to us (me and another girl who
worked there) and gave us 2 VIP tickets. Fortunately our area manager was fine
with it and let us go. I must admit that I'm not big fan of Beyonce, but the
show itself was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you again for the lady who gave us the tickets!

Rigging Sessions
Rigging
basically means rope work, knowing different knots and how to set the ropes up
for climbing and abseiling. I had an opportunity to participate in a couple of
rigging sessions, which hopefully will prove to be beneficial during the
summer. We have discussed very briefly about the idea of going to do some
climbing in coastal cliffs of northern Estonia with Andreas. Would be amazing
to have a 2 night camping near the cliffs, climbing, swimming, barbecue and of
course amazing people, sounds too good to me.

Canoing in Ironbridge Gorge
On 19th
April we had a river trip planned to Ironbridge Gorge. As I missed one of the
previous trips and I really need to get atleast 4 or 5 trips in total, I had to
go on this one. I know it sounds like I didn't want to go, but it's totally the
opposite - I couldn't wait to go!

Lan Party With League of Legends
Another must-do-before-I-die ticked off. Have some nerds together and play computer games for 2 days straight - boys, beer, hesburger & steffani too keep us going and staying overnight and of course stupid computer games, now how awesome is that! Oh and did I mention that I only knew Madis before... No? Okay, I think he knew the majority of the guys but I only knew them through League of Legends and when we first met we introduced ourselves by our ingame names, which was hilarious. But I'm glad I've met that bunch and can't wait for another lan party, wuhuu!

Climbing With Kristina & Wahaz
Kristina and Wahaz visited me for 3 days over the Easter break. Actually we had it planned since New Year's Eve, because Kristina wanted to try climbing. Both of them were super excited to show me their monkey moves, but unfortunately we couldn't go on Sunday because Ladislav had too much alcohol the previous night and I hadn't done my belaying test yet. So we went to Cineworld with Costin and Claudia to watch "The odd life of Timothy Green" and also stayed for "Identity Thief" because our climbing plan was ruined… Then we had some Halal chicken with oven baked fries and tasty mushroom sauce… mmmmmmm…

Outdoor Climbing in Symonds Yat
Day #7 - Back to Home
Before the drop off
to Geneva we spent some time in a climbing museum full of history and different
mountain ranges in the area. Also managed to post some postcards for family
back in Estonia, hope they all received theirs. After a few hours of walking around
the town and exploring local outdoor shops, it was time to leave to catch our
plane.

Snowboarding in Chamonix
Day #5 &
#6
Finally the
days I have been looking forward for the most. For these two days we had to
choose if we wanted to do skiing or snowboarding. Everyone chose the skis
except me and Alex (+Josh, but he couldn't join the residential unfortunately,
so it was just me and Alex on snowboard).
